They connect top talent with the facilities that need them most. They are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CT scanning equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Key duties include preparing and positioning patients, conducting and analyzing scans, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. The CT Tech will also be responsible for equipment calibration, quality assurance, and compliance with California Department of Public Health (CA DPH) regulations. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care are essential, along with maintaining active licensure and ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience as a CT technologist in a hospital
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R)(CT)
  • California Dept. of Public Health (CRT)
  • California Dept. of Public Health Fluoroscopy Permit
  • Venipuncture Certificate
  • Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable
  • Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • Proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
  • Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months
  • Current Annual Health Clearance
  • Must have flexible schedule due to shift need

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and explaining procedures.
  • Conduct and analyze CT scans, ensuring image quality and accuracy.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and minimize exposure risks.
  • Ensure quality assurance, equipment calibration, and regulatory compliance.
  • Educate patients and provide post-scan instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with CA DPH regulations and maintain licensure and training standards.
