About The Position

This position involves performing complex CT procedures, requiring a strong understanding of CT equipment, software, and procedures. The role includes administering contrast, performing venipuncture and IV procedures, and reviewing patient history and protocols. The candidate must be able to work scheduled shifts, including holidays, weekends, and on-call assignments.

Requirements

• CT Technologist experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• High School Diploma/GED
• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
• ARRT – R.T.(R) certification/license
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning
• Strong knowledge of CT equipment, software, and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of PACS
• Ability to perform complex CT procedures
• Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and IV procedures
• Ability to review patient history, prescriptions, and CT protocols
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including holidays/weekends and on-call assignments as required

Nice To Haves

• ARRT – R.T.(CT) certification preferred
• Minimum 6 months of CT experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC
• Experience with HIS/RIS systems
• Maintains required CEU credits
