About The Position

This position is for a CT Scan Tech in Radiology/Cardiology. The daily caseload varies per shift and location. The shift will be 4x10hr, Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM-8:30 PM at Main, with holiday rotation. The role is on-call rotation with staff. Clinicians are expected to float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities. Travelers are expected to attend all staff meetings. Travelers must have a radiation badge provided by their agency, as MUSC does not provide them to travelers. Radius rule is 60 miles. Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. Pending state licenses are not accepted; the license must be in hand at the time of start. All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, and approval will be based on manager/unit needs. The facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. This is a teaching hospital, Magnet, Teaching, and Level 1 Trauma facility with 865 total staffed beds. The scrub color is teal top and black bottom. Charting is done in Epic. Parking costs only for nights and weekends, with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass.

Requirements

• 1 year experience preferable, 6 months level 1 trauma required.
• First-timers accepted if they have previous experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT RT (R) (CT) certification.
• SCRQSA (R) (CT) certification.
• PIV.
• Siemens experience.
• Level 1 Trauma experience.
• Must have radiation badge provided by agency.
• Must have state license in hand at time of start.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months level 1 trauma experience.
