About The Position

This position is for a CT Tech in a Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role involves providing diagnostic evaluation for patients experiencing trauma, stroke, and other injuries, as well as providing a variety of diagnostic imaging for the inpatient population. The average patient load is 98 patients per 24-hour day. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with overtime billed after 40 hours. Contracts of 13-26 weeks are accepted. Call is required, no more than 2-12 hour shifts per month. Floating to other units is required, and weekend work is expected every weekend.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
Experience in Inpatient, ER, Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Adult ICU settings.
Experience with Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke centers.
Proficiency with PACS.
Experience with Contrast.
CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction.
GE experience.
BLS certification.
ARRT certification.
AART Advanced Cert.
RT(R)(CT) certification.
EPIC experience.
Synapse-Fuji experience.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction.
Provide diagnostic evaluation for patients with trauma, stroke, and other injuries.
Provide diagnostic imaging for the inpatient population.
Work 12-hour night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Be available for call, up to 2-12 hour shifts per month.
Float to other units as required.
Work every weekend.
