About The Position

The CT Tech works in Radiology/Imaging. The role requires graduation from an accredited program and less than one year of experience. The employee must hold BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer and be licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless the role is MRI. Certification in two imaging modalities is required, with at least 50% of work time spent in the second modality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program.
• Less than one year of experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless the role is MRI.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities, with 50% of work time in the second modality. Approved modalities include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-CV, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, ARRT-BS, ARRT-BD, ARRT-CI, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-FE, RDMS-OB, RDMS-PS, RVT, CNMT, or ARMRIT.
