About The Position

Community Hospital is seeking a part-time CT Tech to join their Imaging team. This role involves explaining CT procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and proper positioning, operating CT machines to capture high-quality images, and documenting all relevant information. The position requires an Associate's degree, at least one year of diagnostic radiographic experience with CT training, and current Colorado licensure and BLS certification. The role is in-person/onsite at the Community Hospital/Imaging location in Grand Junction, CO.

Requirements

• Associates degree and at least one (1) year of diagnostic radiographic experience and CT training.
• Must have a current license in the State of Colorado.
• ARRT Registry in Radiology and CT (Required)
• Current BLS

Responsibilities

• Explain the CT procedure to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure patients are properly positioned and comfortable during the scan.
• Operate CT machines, adjusting settings to obtain high-quality images.
• Select appropriate imaging protocols based on the type of examination.
• Perform scans, capturing cross-sectional images of specific body areas.
• Document patient information, scan parameters, and any notable observations.
• Discuss findings and assist in the interpretation of images when necessary.
