Radiology/Imaging - CT Tech
About The Position
This position is for a CT Tech in the Radiology/Imaging department. The role requires a graduate from an accredited program with less than one year of experience. A BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire or transfer. The technologist must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) and either Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N). Alternatively, certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) is acceptable. Additionally, a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license from the State of Texas Medical Board is mandatory.
Requirements
- Graduated from an Accredited Program
- Less than 1 year of experience
- BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N)
- Alternatively, certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT)
- Licensed by State of TX Medical Board as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
