About The Position
Arise CareStaff is looking for an experienced CT Tech to work for our client healthcare facility in Bakersfield, CA. This is a travel assignment with a duration of 13 weeks. The position requires computer charting using Cerner.
Requirements
- Current California Radiologic Tech (RT)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.R.T) certification
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Tech
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
- Position patients and equipment correctly for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
