About The Position

This role performs diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners to produce detailed images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role involves preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and delivering high-quality images while providing compassionate patient care.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required in the field.
• 1 year of Epic experience required.
• Medication system: Omnicell.
• Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, SCRQSA SC license.
• Community Hospital Experience required.
• Call required.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred but not required.
• Trauma Level II Experience Preferred but not required.
• Travel Experience: Will review 1st time travelers based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners.
• Produces detailed images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
• Prepares patients for imaging procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment.
• Ensures radiation safety.
• Delivers high-quality images.
• Provides compassionate patient care.
• Provides 24 hours of call coverage per month, typically one day a month.
• Provides weekend coverage every third weekend, which may change based on need.
