We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a CT Technologist.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registered CT Technologist (RT(C)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and PACS.
  • Proficient in performing a variety of CT procedures with high accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of CT anatomy, scanning protocols, and radiation safety practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in performing and documenting CT procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans, as well as specialized studies as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring they understand the procedure and are comfortable throughout the process.
  • Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images, following protocol and safety guidelines to ensure diagnostic accuracy and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to assess and verify image quality, adjusting as necessary to achieve optimal results; notify radiologists or physicians of any technical issues or patient concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient scans, contrast usage, and technical details in electronic health records (EHR) and generate preliminary reports as needed.
  • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and integration of CT findings into patient care.
  • Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control practices, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients, addressing their questions and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
