About The Position

Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a CT Technologist by performing computerized tomographic procedures to identify patient disease and injury accurately. Coordinate direct patient care by safely positioning individuals and selecting precise technical parameters according to established clinical radiology protocols. Administer contrast media and medications within your licensed scope of practice while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare safety regulations. Monitor patient safety during CT Technologist procedures and document clinical findings to ensure high-quality outcomes and identify abnormal activity. Support quality improvement by following radiation safety guidelines and recommending refinements to imaging protocols and departmental scanning workflows.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
