About The Position

The CT Technologist works under minimal supervision to assist the Lead CT Tech in performing diagnostic CT procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; assists with PACS and outside films; and routes patients and/or their images to the appropriate nurse's station. Clinic hours: Mon - Fri 7:30a – 5:30p. This Part time position will average between 20-30 hours/week. Must be available to work M, W, F.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program
  • R.R.T. Certification
  • Must set a reasonable goal for achieving CT certification by the A.R.R.T within 12 months

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years experience, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures as required: achieve a high level of image quality
  • Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum
  • Obtain patient history as needed
  • Assist in starting IVs efficiently
