About The Position
The CT Technologist performs technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
- FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include head, body, MSK, spine and chest imaging
- One year of CT experience REQUIRED.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS
Nice To Haves
- Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience for hospital position. However, for the FSED opportunities, you must have acute care experience.
