Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and with a CT-specific certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

Patient Care: Verifying identification, explaining procedures, obtaining patient history, and monitoring patients during scans.
Image Acquisition: Positioning patients correctly, adjusting scan parameters, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Safety & Technical Procedures: Administering IV contrast, adhering to radiation safety protocols (ALARA), and performing equipment calibration.
Technical Operations: Operating PACS and RIS systems to manage, archive, and send images for analysis.
Collaboration: Working with radiologists to support guided biopsies or complex diagnostic procedures.
Imaging Procedures: Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images, including advanced CT angiography (CTA) and 3D reconstructions.
