Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.
Requirements
- Vocational/Technical education
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.R.T.) or registry eligible
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Responsibilities
- Operating the C.T. scanner
- Transportation of patients to and from the department
- Handling telephone scheduling of inpatients and outpatients
- Calling the physician with the report of the exam
- Starting an IV line to administer contrast fluid
- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the department
