CT Tech II - 8-Hour Day Shift - $7500 Hiring Incentive!

Make a difference in Imaging! As a CT Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 8-hour weekday and weekend day shifts on a rotating basis. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses Siemens computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologist certification (ARRT-R) required
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) required
- Venipuncture certification required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist required
- At least 6 months of experience with Siemens brand scanners preferred
Nice To Haves
- Applicants with no CT certification may be considered as a Tech I
- Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered as a Tech I
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
- Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
- Cleans and disinfects patient rooms
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
