About The Position

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a CT Task Lead to support a high-paced and critical counterterrorism mission support program in McLean, VA. The CT Task Lead will be responsible for the overall management, execution, and performance of a multidisciplinary team supporting a high-priority counterterrorism mission. The Lead will provide leadership and oversight for a workforce of more than 60+ FTEs, which includes All-Source Analysts, Editors, Targeters, and Watch Officers. The Lead will serve as the primary interface between government leadership and contractor personnel, ensuring mission requirements are met while maintaining operational excellence, workforce engagement, and contract compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline + Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively more complex roles as a team lead or manager, with experience managing at least 50 personnel.
  • Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in briefing audiences at all levels.
  • Experience building relationships and working effectively with customers.
  • Experience managing people to include staffing, mentoring, writing appraisals, conducting salary planning, training and remedial actions as required.
  • Management and/or team leadership for a large, mission focused team comprised of Leidos and subcontractor teammates.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

  • Knowledge of NCTC analytical tools and databases.
  • Knowledge of mission, roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures of the ODNI, NCTC, and IC
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience leading intelligence analysis, targeting, watch operations, or production support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership and management of a 60+FTE workforce across multiple functional disciplines.
  • Provide extensive support to the Leidos Program Manager and produce multiple program deliverables to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Work closely with the Leidos Program Manager to provide services and deliverables that adhere to quality, Service Level Agreement (SLA), schedule and budget requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of the tasks consistent with the service level agreements and industry best practices.
  • Integrate all functions and activities necessary to ensure the project/program meets client/customer requirements.
  • Direct project team members, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interface.
  • Manage technical aspects, costs, and schedule of assigned tasks or functions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible at managing competing priorities.
  • Must be resourceful and independent problem solvers.
  • Conduct staff selection and management.
  • Plan, conduct, and document stakeholder meetings.
  • Be the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders.
  • Support the PM in all ad hoc taskings and requirements.
  • Monitor individual and collective performance and make adjustments as necessary.
