About The Position

Our radiology team includes certified specialists and provides advanced imaging services across fast-paced inpatient and outpatient environments. We offer flexible scheduling and professional growth through cross-training, and work collaboratively to support diagnostics and critical interventions, contributing directly to exceptional patient care and positive outcomes. The CT Supervisor will supervise the daily activities of assigned staff, determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. They will train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations, and coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes. This role also involves assisting with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. The supervisor may perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require and creates work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7. Additionally, the supervisor will perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application, and ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained through quarterly audits of all supply closets.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff.
  • Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Provides input for hiring and termination procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
  • Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require. Creates work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7.
  • Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
  • Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained. Perform quarterly audits of all supply closets to review stock vs. workload. Make any changes to supply levels if necessary.
