About The Position

Responsible for producing cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Interprets a physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

  • Positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images.
  • Utilizing EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
  • Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
  • Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
  • Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
