About The Position
This is a Per Diem CT Scan Technologist position at Sharon Hospital. Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech Program.
- BLS certification.
- CT State RT license (new Graduates under the CT Temporary Practice Provisions considered).
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Significant manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity.
- Some occupational risk.
- Medium to Heavy effort, may exert up to 35 lbs. force.
- Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Willing to work in X-Ray and CT Scan.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
- Position patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
