This position utilizes noninvasive computerized medical technology to take CT scan images, which are used to diagnose, evaluate, and treat a variety of medical issues. You’ll work with a supportive and dynamic team while also gaining valuable skills in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required by law).
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required).
Current BLS CPR certification.
CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for patient care and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.
Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.
Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.
Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post-exam instructions.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.
Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.
