About The Position

Performs all Radiology/CT procedures using digital imaging in addition to CT contrast studies to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Performs all modalities of PACS/RIS. Must be familiar with dosage and side effects of contrast media, be prepared and know standard practice if patient reaction occurs. Starts IVs and administers contrast. Performs clerical duties, schedules patients, registers patients and copies exams. Cleans and preps exam rooms. Works effectively with patients and families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
• Licensed by the State of Mississippi
• Certified by the American College of Radiology
• BLS required

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with dosage and side effects of contrast media
• Prepared and knowledgeable of standard practice if patient reaction occurs
• Experience preferred
