About The Position

Under the direction of the department manager or designee, performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. Participates in technical duties directly involved with the CT scanner including developing, initiating, training and monitoring procedures for the effective utilization of this unit as well as other portable and stationary X-ray units within the department.

Requirements

• Associate of Science Degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent approved A.M.A. program.
• CRT License and Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Valid California State Certification license in unlimited diagnostic radiology services.
• ARRT License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Current MAB/AB50A.
• One to three years of radiologic experience.
• Experience with all age groups as neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatrics.

Nice To Haves

• CT certification.
• One year minimum experience in performing CT or previous acute hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required special procedures in the radiology department, operating specialized equipment.
• Perform routine diagnostic procedures providing quality radiographic images.
