About The Position

Charlotte Radiology is seeking an ARRT CT/X-Ray Technologist to work overnight in their new freestanding Emergency Department. This role involves performing excellent patient care for all CT scans and x-rays, completing paperwork accurately, and monitoring patient safety regarding radiation and contrast dose. The position is located in a joint venture with Atrium Health at the corner of Bruton Smith Blvd and Highway 29. Charlotte Radiology has been a leader in clinical imaging services for over 50 years, serving the NC/SC area with advanced imaging technology and a large team focused on patient care.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience with CT/X-Ray
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
ARRT registry in CT and X-Ray
BLS
Must be up to date with local and federal regulations that apply to their licensure and role
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift the appropriate weight determined by CR (50-75 lbs.)
Must have positive communication skills
Must be competent with IVs

Responsibilities

Performs excellent patient care for all CT scans and x-rays.
Quickly and accurately completes all paperwork to include orders, lab work and authorization confirmation.
Monitoring the safety of patients pertaining to radiation and contrast dose.
Performs basic patient care functions and informs the Radiologist or nurse of any change in the patient’s condition if needed.
