About The Position

Requirements

  • Good Communication Skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to lift 35 - 40 pounds
  • Must be friendly and ambitious.
  • Flexibility with schedule and morning hours are a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in veterinary or customer service a plus but willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients in a professional and welcoming manner in person and by phone
  • Address client inquiries and requests in a timely and consistent manner
  • Effectively schedule appointments within parameters established by the hospital leadership team
  • Record thorough and accurate information in client records, patient medical records, communication requests to medical staff, and appointment notes
  • Receive and effectively process client requests for prescription medications, foods, and medical documentation
  • Accurately process financial transactions through both the practice management software program and credit card systems
  • Reconcile financial information as required throughout each shift
  • Ensure that the reception area maintains a clean, professional and welcoming presentation
  • Facilitate staff with cleaning of hospital and daily tasks when needed
