About The Position

The CSR Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and will provide some work direction to custodial staff. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating motorized cleaning equipment, tracking inventory, and ensuring the daily upkeep of assigned areas. The CSR Lead will also assist the Custodial Supervisor with scheduling, training, purchasing, and conducting inspections. Additionally, this role requires monitoring employees for proper use of personal protective equipment and supplies, correcting at-risk behavior, and reporting incidents and personnel issues.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
1 to 2 years related experience
CPR/AED/First Aid certification
May be required to have a valid driver’s license
Completed all safety and task training certification
May be required to be forklift certified
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties
Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor
Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed
Operate motorized cleaning equipment
Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs
Schedule clean up and repairs as needed
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
Track and maintain supplies inventory
Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment
Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies
Correct at risk behavior, then report to the supervisor immediately
Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
