About The Position

The P750 Strategy and Program Management Division is the back-bone support for all Center for Securing the Homeland (CSH) Program Management Office (PMO) and business-related functions. Our team works closely with varying levels of staff across CSH and Corporate Finance organizations, predominantly supporting Managing Directors, Department Managers and Project Leaders who execute work for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) government agencies, Department of State (DOS), and the National Cybersecurity FFRDC (NCF) sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Understanding of business analytics, management and operations, RFP's/contracts and finances and budgeting
  • Proficient in using Microsoft suite of tools
  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Knowledge of Federally Funded Research and Development Center operations
  • Knowledge of CSH and MITRE Public Sector customers and operations
  • Experience with business analytics, management and operations, RFP's/contracts and finances and budgeting
  • High level of proficiency in using Microsoft suite of tools
  • High level of proficiency in SharePoint online
  • High level of proficiency in Tableau
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Flexibility to work additional hours to meet Project deadlines, as needed
  • DoD Secret Clearance / DHS Fitness

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the CSH PMO team, with responsibilities to include:
  • Process Oriented Tasks in support of the CSH Pipeline and Proposal/RFP processes
  • Ownership of routine tasks (ie pulling receipts, monitoring PMO email, creation of reports, etc)
  • Project Set Up facilitation, Project Execution compliance, and Project Closeout activities
  • Indirect Budget monitoring
  • Contribute to the preparation of FFRDC reviews
  • Assist with preparing for CSH Business Reviews
  • Aid in FFRDC Contract Deliverable creation, compliance and deadlines
  • Proficient in SharePoint to assist in updating the CSH PMO SharePoint site and Shared library
  • Aid in maintaining and enhancing our deliverables SharePoint site (Enclave and DOV)
  • Provide assistance on CSH business processes and norms
  • Respond to special projects and ad hoc requests from the CSH PMO team, Center and Division Leadership, Project Leadership and various Corporate Stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned
