We are seeking a CSfC Senior Network Engineer to join our team in the National Capital Region. Requirements

  • Top Secret IT-I Clearance Level
  • Comp TIA Security + Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree from any accredited university in Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
  • At least eight (8) years of DoD experience with mid to senior level expertise.
  • Experience with CISCO, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba network equipment and Cisco ISE.
  • Expertise in performance analysis, management, design capacity and throughput planning for converged infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016-2019-2022 and VMware products (vSphere 6x/7.x/8.x)
  • Cybersecurity and IT expertise.
  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS Clearance

  • CCNA (Preferred)
  • CCNP (Preferred)
  • Prior experience with NSA CSfC systems and architectures.
  • Knowledge of Navy-specific IT systems and security requirements.
  • Navy CSfC systems experience.
  • Knowledge of Navy-specific IT systems and security requirements
  • Installation, configuration and support of Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, PKI integration, and VMware vSphere in classified environments
  • Utilizing performance and network monitoring, management and other tools to ensure security and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Providing on-call and touch labor support in the sustainment of CSFC systems and networks.
  • Responsible for providing SME assistance in the sustainment of Navy and coalition CSFC environments.
  • Execute system maintenance activities including patching, updates, and configuration management.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and support of virtualized environments including VMware vSphere, Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, PKI integration.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network appliances including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN gateways.
  • Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and throughput optimization for both systems and network infrastructure.
  • Utilize monitoring and management tools to ensure system and network security and optimal performance.
  • Respond to unexpected outages and provide emergency support as required.
  • Support future system expansion installations at additional locations.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively interact via verbal and written communications with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Program Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and SCAP scanning requirements.
