About The Position

This role is an in office role requiring working in office five days per week in Charlotte or Atlanta. This role helps drive execution across SEBP and CSBB by supporting core business routines, coordinating deliverables, and connecting work across partners to keep priorities aligned and moving forward. It brings structure, follow-through, and operational discipline to the work, helping leaders stay focused on priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver with consistency. Core purpose of this role is to formulate, develop and drive strategic initiatives for consumer retail organization. The role will utilize strong analytical skills and data-driven problem solving skills to help achieve the objectives of the Retail Strategy organization. The role will encompass a combination of leading specific client segment strategy and being a generalist strategy professional for broader initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials – college degree (MBA preferred), or equivalent education and related training or experience
  • Eight years of experience, or equivalent experience and related training
  • Background in consumer financial services / banking
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to distil insights from large data-sets, strong analytical, communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of client segment, product and channel strategy for Retail & Small Business Banking.
  • Drive key strategic initiatives including (but not limited to) identification of high value segments and points of differentiation to win with high value segments (including launching initiatives to acquire new households with specific segments, and deepen relationships with other segments).
  • Coordinate BU wide activities and initiatives - Partner with BU teams to drive initiative implementation: including (but not limited to) project management (establishing timelines, critical path, milestones, RACI and associated deliverables).
  • Have overall accountability for client segment management (drive intended outcomes of acquiring new households or deepening relationships with existing households).
  • Partner with performance / analytics teams to draw insights emerging for segment to identify growth opportunities (either through acquisition or deepening activities).
  • On an ongoing basis, continue to formulate new strategic initiatives by drawing on analytics / insights.
  • Partner with product and channel teams to drive delivery of differentiated products and client experiences by segment.
