Requirements

  • Proficiency in Communication Studies or a cognate discipline.
  • Submission of a CV.
  • Submission of a Candidate Application Form (CAF).

  • For external applicants: Evidence of good teaching.
  • For external applicants: Verification of highest degree.

Responsibilities

  • Instructing a tutorial session for CS203A5 Conceptual Issues in Communication.
  • Facilitating analysis of key perspectives in communication theory and central concepts.
  • Utilizing primary source readings in the tutorial sessions.
  • Potentially performing marking and grading allowance as per Article 28.2 of the collective agreement.
  • Potentially coordinating large classes or multi-section courses as per Article 28.3 of the collective agreement.
