About The Position

This position supports Customer Support Sales and related transformation initiatives to improve process efficiency and organizational consistency. The role involves creating and providing integrated plans for input to complex new products in development, and managing cross-functional project teams that coordinate product development. Responsibilities include guiding and leading the team in achieving project goals, including issue identification, resolution, and contingency planning.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Program Management, Engineering, Finance or related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
8 years experience in A/C design, mfg or service and support, to include 5 years program management experience consisting of any combination of supervisory experience, complex program management, and/or technical experience.
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Aircraft Industry Production, Engineering, Quality, Completion, Material and Service Support Operations.
Requires a detailed understanding of Program/Project Management processes and procedures and an intimate understanding of in service A/C operations.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholders goals and objectives.
Reviews, manages, proactively challenges, and controls status of projects operation of the programs and budgets.
Manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.
Acts as a liaison with alliance partners and thought leaders external to the company.
Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
Analyzes program certification schedule and performance targets/guarantee progress.
Develops draft master schedules for new product development.
Monitors variance analysis to schedules and budgets for all projects to ensure desired savings/revenue are achieved.
Monitors quality, reliability, and availability issues to ensure top drivers are identified and resolved.
Supports departments Intranet Web site and newsletters to maintain Technical and Program updates.
Supports supplier design and program reviews to ensure program deliverables, schedules, and budgets are met.
Performs other duties as assigned.
