Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3-7 years of professional success in low-level software or firmware development.
  • High proficiency in C programming, specifically for resource-constrained systems.
  • Strong grasp of secure networking fundamentals and encrypted communication channels.
  • Experience navigating various operating systems and development toolchains.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for secure coding best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, global engineering team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performance, portable C-code for modern encryption protocols and security libraries.
  • Optimize software for extreme memory and processing constraints without sacrificing performance.
  • Collaborate with hardware vendors to ensure seamless integration of security stacks on new platforms.
  • Perform deep-dive code reviews and vulnerability assessments to maintain ironclad software security.
  • Take ownership of the full feature lifecycle, from academic research to production-ready code.
  • Draft comprehensive technical specifications and reference materials for external engineering teams.
  • Contribute to community-driven security standards and technical documentation.
