About The Position

Charles Schwab’s Digital Assets business is building innovative cryptocurrency capabilities designed to enhance and expand how retail clients engage with digital assets. As a Product Manager, Crypto (Manager) focused on on-chain experiences, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering solutions that enable seamless cryptocurrency transfers and client experiences across Schwab’s ecosystem. You will contribute to defining product strategy and executing against a roadmap that balances client value, risk management, and business outcomes, all through a client-first mindset. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, trading, marketing, and risk partners to build and optimize client-facing cryptocurrency experiences. You will help translate complex client and business needs into scalable solutions by leveraging data-driven insights, industry trends, and an evolving regulatory landscape. Through strong problem-solving and decision-making, you will refine product priorities, assess trade-offs across usability and feasibility, and continuously enhance features post-launch to improve client experience and drive adoption. Success in this role requires adaptability in a fast-paced, emerging domain, along with the ability to influence partners and align stakeholders around a common vision. You will contribute to shaping operational processes, enabling go-to-market efforts, and identifying opportunities for ongoing product innovation, ensuring Schwab remains competitive in the rapidly evolving digital assets space.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the retail online brokerage or cryptocurrency industry within product management and strategy
  • Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency transfers and on-chain product experiences (e.g., deposits, withdrawals, custody, staking, DeFi, tokenization concepts)
  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital product experiences with measurable impact
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence outcomes across product, engineering, operations, and business teams
  • Experience using data and user insights to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate product vision, strategy, and objectives clearly
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving priorities
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or enhancing features related to on-chain product components (e.g., transaction monitoring, key management, gas fees, allowlisting)
  • Deep understanding of digital assets, blockchain networks, and supporting tools (e.g., block explorers)
  • Experience driving product roadmap development, backlog prioritization, and feature delivery in agile environments
  • Exposure to regulatory and risk considerations within financial services or cryptocurrency products
