About The Position

The Crushing and Screening Application Manager is the primary contact for account managers and customer support advisors on Kleeman Crushing and Screening Products. This individual will support both the sales process and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The market manager will work closely with the Deere equipment sales team and develop strong customer relationships as well as have excellent understanding of the market, the product and general crushing & screening business in Florida. This individual will assist the Division Manager in achieving the business plan for the Crushing and Screening business lines. This job description does not include a complete listing of all the duties and functions of the position. Management reserves the right to assign other duties or projects, as necessary. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned) Generate and build strong and lasting business relationships with prospective and existing customers. Work with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their equipment needs. Understand specific applications and suggest the correct attachments, screens, media, and mechanical adjustments to optimize machine performance. Resolve basic product support issues. Report competitive market data and changing market conditions. Frequently visit customer facilities and jobsites related to customer support activities. Must be available to work nights and weekends as necessary to provide customer support. Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Road Building Products experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with related experience in crushing and screening industry
  • High proficiency in customer relationship skills.
  • Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
  • Computer skills need to be broad based.
  • Must be able to travel and stay overnight as required.
  • Must be available 24/7 for customer assistance calls.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, statistics, and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
