Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Crushing and Conveying Operations Supervisor at our Cortez operations. As part of the Operations team, the successful candidate will ensure that all operations service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company. Requirements
- Five (5) years of supervisory or lead experience required.
- Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing required.
- Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required.
- Performance of the essential job functions required.
- Team based work skills required.
- Proficient with basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), required.
- Valid driver’s license, required.
- Commitment to developing and maintaining a safe work culture, required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the safe execution of operations activities for various types of equipment (Site Fixed Equipment)
- Support the objectives of the Site Crushing and Conveying Operations with the Maintenance Superintendent
- Supervise all the Site Crushing and Conveying Operators.
- Ensure that all operation service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company
- Participate in maintenance planning processes.
- Ensure that departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met.
- Administer company policies and procedures.
- Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value. focusing on cost management
- Perform other duties as assigned.
