Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow policies & procedures.
  • Must be proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English for the purpose of record keeping, safety and quality training processes & communicating business related information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team & safety environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet & above).
  • Good written & verbal communications skills.
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shift.
  • Overtime will be required both as part of the normal schedule & to provide coverage as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Some mechanical background including the ability to recognize signs of operational failure.

Responsibilities

  • Operating equipment and technology tools throughout the facility which may include filters, grinders, mixers, etc.
  • Collecting product samples & supervising tank levels, utilizing computer systems to input and record data as necessary.
  • Manufacturing products to ensure that they meet specifications.
  • Interacting regularly with peers & management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment.
  • Maintain daily shift reports.
  • Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies & procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe & clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
