About The Position

Savage is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Crude Transport Driver to join our team in Williston, ND. This full-time position operates on a night shift schedule with local routes, ensuring you are home every day. You will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections, sampling and transporting crude oil and NGLs, maintaining accurate documentation, and actively participating in our safety program. The role also involves transporting additional chemical products and hauling oilfield tubulars. We offer a modern fleet, competitive pay, a retention bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

  • Class A CDL with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements
  • 2+ year of CDL Experience, preferably in an oilfield environment
  • 1+ year of Crude or liquid hauling experience
  • A commitment to work without an occurrence; no spills, no injuries and no property damage
  • Can successfully pass Savage’s road test, which will include a proper pre- and post-trip inspection of the vehicle
  • Comfortable working in an oilfield environment, including climbing ladders and stairs to the top of tanks, and working around flammable gases and other toxic fumes
  • Must be willing to work days/nights/holidays
  • High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pre and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, and take appropriate action on encountered problems.
  • Sample, test, and purchase crude oil using onboard equipment at designated locations.
  • Load and unload crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs).
  • Ensure accurate documentation, product integrity, and regulatory compliance during all operations.
  • Utilize any on-board computer terminals to accurately record locations visited and products handled and ensure any additional paperwork is complete, neat, and legible.
  • Report incidents (operational and/or safety-related), as instructed, in a timely manner.
  • Contain and report any spill according to the established Occurrence Reporting procedures.
  • Take an active role in our safety program, including attendance at all safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors of self and subordinates.
  • Transport additional chemical products as assigned.
  • Haul oilfield tubulars on flatbed trailers, ensuring proper load securement and regulatory compliance.
