About The Position

Set up and safely operate any or all machining and polishing equipment within a production cell. Visually inspect products and use gauges to verify proper size. The role involves transforming forged product to its pre-heat-treatment state.

Requirements

• High school diploma or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.
• Ability to work from drawings, specifications, and formulas involving limited detail.
• Ability to use and interpret measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of manual machine tools and polishing machines to transform forged product to the pre-heat-treatment state.
• Rotate among tasks within the production cell as capable.
• Support and adhere to all 6-S and TPM requirements.
• Wear personal protective equipment distributed and approved by the company.
• Meet required productivity and quality levels.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
