Crossing Guard
About The Position
The City of Cibolo is seeking a Crossing Guard to join our team. As a key member of the Police Department, the Crossing Guard is responsible for the safety and welfare of children crossing roadways at designated school crossing sites on school days at designated times. Duties of this position include stopping traffic, maintaining awareness of street crossing, ensuring all individuals cross the street safely, and communicating in a friendly demeanor to students, school staff, and parents. Our Crossing Guards make a difference in each student's life by engaging with them and ensuring that they safely cross street intersections. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Available to work Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Valid Texas Class C driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screening
- Pass a physical
