Crossing Guard will work at assigned intersections to ensure the safety and protection of children crossing roads on the way to school. Stop on-coming traffic and escort children across street. Place and remove school crossing and reduced speed signs at assigned intersection before and after shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Work experience in security, safety or law enforcement is preferred.
Must have means of transportation to assigned work site.
Must pass an oral board examination.
Complete the post-offer employment medical and background examination.
This position is safety sensitive.
Employment is subject to a pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with all terms and conditions of federal and state rules and regulations regarding alcohol and/or drug testing.
Comply with the safety guidelines of the County.

Nice To Haves
