About The Position

This role involves supporting both breakfast and Kickback operations at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The position focuses on ensuring guests have a positive and delicious experience, particularly during breakfast service, while also contributing to a welcoming environment for team members and guests.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
• Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and breakfast hours.
• Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests and creating a happy, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
• Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and clean up free hot breakfasts.
• Create a warm, comfortable, and relaxing environment.
• Ensure food safety standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and supplies.
• Keep the breakfast and lobby area clean and well-organized.
• Provide courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
