About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Cross Domain Solution (CDS) SME to support critical cross-domain architectures and provide technical governance, strategic coordination, and Government-led oversight in Colorado Springs, CO. The CDS SME will serve as a primary technical representative, supporting coordination across the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to ensure alignment with multi-agency security, compliance, and authorization requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have a Master of Science degree in a technical or scientific field and at least 10 years of related experience.
  • Must have direct experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and its programs.
  • Must have experience coordinating with internal and external organizations to accomplish common technical and program objectives.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and manage detailed technical information independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, Government leadership, members of the Senior Executive Service, and senior military officers.
  • Must have an Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Must be eligible for adjudication to SCI and have the ability to maintain required clearance eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer at least 15 years of relevant DoD, MDA, and/or industry experience, including experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Experience supporting integration and test activities for missile defense-related programs or other complex DoD programs, preferred.
  • Experience working within classified and Special Access Program environments, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support test integration activities for the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications Global (C2BMC-G) system.
  • Coordinate with Government and Contractor Program Managers, prime development contractors, external stakeholders, and customers to identify and resolve missile defense challenges and opportunities.
  • Support oversight of prime contractor integration of software applications and hardware components in preparation for testing.
  • Ensure mission-critical functionality is prioritized and tested in accordance with established program plans, schedules, and fielding requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance for cross-domain architectures, integration activities, and associated security requirements.
  • Coordinate with MDA, DIA, and other Government organizations to support cross-domain planning, compliance, authorization, and approval activities.
  • Work across internal and external organizations to resolve complex technical issues and accomplish common program objectives.
  • Track detailed technical information, actions, risks, and issues independently and as part of an integrated team.
