About The Position

DSST Conservatory Green Middle School is seeking a Cross Country Coach for the middle school level. This is a seasonal, fixed-term, temporary, benefits-ineligible position. The season runs from 8/25/2026 to 10/31/2026. The coach will be responsible for reinforcing the school's core values, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment, and designing and implementing comprehensive training programs. All coaches must be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive activity buses.

Responsibilities

Live and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community
Reinforce the school’s core values, guiding philosophy, rules, and school spirit
Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and goals of individual athletes and the team
Conduct regular training sessions, focusing on technique, strength, endurance, and skill development
Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols
Be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive activity buses
