About The Position

Our client is a leading company in the agro-industrial sector, specializing in the development and commercialization of innovative solutions aimed at improving agricultural product quality. With a strong presence in Des Moines, Iowa, they are expanding their operations to Illinois and South Dakota, providing effective logistical solutions and efficient product delivery. The company is seeking a talented Sales Representative to focus on the promotion and sale of a liquid coating technology for granular fertilizers. The product enhances the physical quality of fertilizers by reducing dust, preventing clumping, improving fluidity, and preserving nutrient efficiency. The initial focus of the role will be on this product, with the opportunity to expand into other products within the portfolio as the companys commercial projects grow.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably in technical or agricultural products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Nice To Haves

• Technical knowledge of fertilizers or related products is a plus.
• Fluent in English, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the product to potential clients, driving new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts in the Iowa region initially, with the possibility of expanding to Illinois and South Dakota.
• Provide technical support and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Gather market insights and customer feedback to assist in product development and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the growth of the commercial portfolio by eventually selling other products such as multifunctional adjuvants and foliar fertilizers.
