About The Position

Compeer Financial is seeking collaborative, innovative, and dynamic professionals to join their Top Workplace culture as a Crop Insurance Intern. This paid internship offers the opportunity to work with the Crop Insurance team to process and service multi-peril crop insurance (MPCI), crop hail, and other insurance policies. The intern will develop a working knowledge of crop insurance products, perform data entry into AIP systems, produce and mail marketing materials, and maintain client confidentiality. This internship is located in Mankato, MN or Lakeville, MN and will run full-time through the summer of 2027. The intern is responsible for their own housing and transportation, though business-related expenses will be covered.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business or a related field.
  • Knowledge of agriculture and agricultural operations is preferred.
  • Efficient, accurate, detail oriented.
  • Proficient with multiple forms of technology and software, including Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to deliver high quality products and services.
  • Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers and team leader.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Process and service multi-peril crop insurance (MPCI), crop hail, and other insurance policies.
  • Develop working knowledge of crop insurance products.
  • Perform data entry into AIP systems.
  • Produce, assemble, and mail marketing material to clients.
  • Protect client confidentiality and integrity of Compeer client data.
