About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CRNP or PA to join our healthcare team. The CRNP or PA will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care, conducting physical exams and health assessments, and developing treatment plans. This position will report 2 to 3 days weekly. Schedule to vary weekly however will be outlined for the semester in advance.

Requirements

Must possess a current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current DEA registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a college health setting.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical exams, health assessments, and develop treatment plans for student patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and make referrals as necessary.
Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Document patient encounters and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and stay current on best practices in healthcare.
Completes other duties as assigned.
