About The Position

This on-site contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. As a PA & AP Nursing, CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering anesthesia services and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will be instrumental in performing assessments, developing care plans, and delivering exceptional nursing practices tailored to the needs of our patients.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Immediate availability for 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Hospital environment practice setting
• Mixed shifts required, including two weekends per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• Experience with General, Spine, Neurology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology case types
• No involvement with obstetrics or trauma cases
• Occasional pediatric cases (monthly, primarily healthy patients aged 4+; occasional procedures for children aged 2-4 for tympanostomy tube insertions)
• Collaborative approach with multiple providers per shift and support staff
• Experience with EPIC system
• Board Certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia safely and effectively to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patients throughout the surgical process to ensure their safety and comfort
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia processes
• Stay updated on emerging anesthesia practices and technologies
• Contribute to the training and mentoring of nursing staff and students
