W2 CRNA Needed in Pasadena, Texas - 953
About The Position
We are seeking a service-oriented CRNA to join our collaborative team in Pasadena, TX. This is a rare job-share opportunity offering $250,000 (1099) with 26 weeks off per year, an ideal schedule for CRNAs seeking work-life balance without sacrificing income. Located just outside of Houston in the Houston/Woodlands/Sugar Land metro area, Pasadena offers easy access to all the amenities of a major city. You'll be 20–30 minutes from both Houston Hobby and IAH airports, with a strong local community, excellent schools, and affordable living. The role involves a variety of obstetric case types, OB focused, with annual deliveries averaging around 2200. The OB MD takes care of patients throughout the night. The supervision model is independent, but there is MD backup if needed.
Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas. (Currently, or willing to obtain)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA, with proficiency in OB cases.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
- Must have Texas CRNA APRN License.
- Must have strong epidural and spinal skills, with the ability to manage laboring patients.
- Must be comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia management for a variety of obstetric case types.
- Manage laboring patients, including performing epidural and spinal procedures.
- Work independently while having MD backup available when needed.
- Adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
- Interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
