Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas (Currently, or willing to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA.
- Proficiency in general, ortho, endo, OB/GYN and CV cases.
- Strong clinical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Nice To Haves
- Regional anesthesia proficiency is preferred, but facility is willing to train.
Responsibilities
- Perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
- Deliver optimal patient care.
- Participate in call rotation (1:7).
- Provide anesthesia for General, Orthopedic, Endo/GI, ENT (some pediatric), Spine, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Cardiology and CV cases.
- Proficiency in regional anesthesia is preferred, with training available.
