About The Position
Responsible for the administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in (1) Pre-Anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence; (3) Post Anesthesia Care: (4) Peri-Anesthetic and clinical support functions. Works collaboratively under the anesthesiologist and the overall direction of the OR Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services.
Requirements
- Schedule is 5, 8-hour days per week (M-F) or 4, 10-hour days per week, with call rotation.
- Call is 1 in every 6 weekends and includes first, second, and third call during the week and on weekend.
- CRNAs have post-first call day off.
- No in-house call, must be able to get to the Medical Center in 20 minutes.
- Currently 12 Anesthesiologist, and 24 CRNAs in the group.
- Medically directed.
- Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist.
- Current licensure to practice as a CRNA in the state of Missouri.
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
